Buggy walks Dublin – The Phoenix Park

A family favourite in the heart of Dublin

Makeshift changing facility

The Phoenix Park Dublin City is undoubtedly one of my favourite places in Ireland. What a fabulous facility to have right in the heart of Dublin.

Features include:

  • Free Parking
  • Looped Walks
  • Dublin Zoo (entrance fee)
  • Áras an Uachtairáin
  • Farmleigh House
  • A Visitor Centre which provides the following facilities:
    • Toilet & changing facilities
    • Large enclosed playground
    • Coffee Shop
    • Walled Garden
    • Outdoor picnic benches
    • Mini maze

The walk included here starts and finishes at the Civil Defence House, opposite the Hole in the Wall entrance on the North Road. Of course it’s an option to park in the Visitor Centre or on Chesterfield Ave but the triangle is our usual port of call. The reason being the Visitor Centre can be quite busy and there are a number of loops that can be done from here.
