Barna Woods, an enchanting forest located just off the main road to Barna, Galway. Blink and you will miss the gateway with only a handful of parking spaces however the woods can also be accessed through Cappagh Park. This really is a hidden gem, with old native trees throughout.
Any forest in autumn is a sight to behold but Barna Woods is a very special spot indeed. The path was quite slippy and mucky due to the rain so a sturdy buggy is required. You can read more details here.
